Egg within egg a freak of nature

Maria La Frenais got more than she bargained for when she broke an egg for breakfast.

The Glendene resident was about to start a morning fry-up when she made the unusual discovery - an egg inside an egg.

"I cracked it into the pan and out came a small yolk," she says.

"But to my amazement there was another fully formed egg in the shell.

"I then cracked open the inner egg which had a yolk the same size as the first," she says.

Ms La Frenais says the egg - described by experts as a freak of nature - was in a tray of supersized free range eggs.

"I am keeping the shells as mementoes," she says.

RARE PHENOMEON: A similar discovery was made in Australia three years ago.

Bird expert and veterinarian Kevin Turner says Ms La Frenais? discovery is odd.

"I've never seen it before," he says.

An egg within an egg was found in New South Wales in 2004.

It was the first Sydney University poultry science professor Tom Scott had seen in his 30-year career.

He says a normal egg disturbed in the shell gland could move back up into the oviduct and start production all over again, resulting in an egg inside an egg.

Auckland Zoo vet Berend Westera says the case is rare and defies logic.

He has consulted colleagues overseas who have seen similar things. They say there are documented cases from the late 1800s to 1945.

But Dr Peter Sandmeier from Switzerland has a story to beat all.

He was amazed when three eggs appeared on an x-ray of a budgie that was having trouble laying.

"The third egg was about one-third the normal size, had a normal shell and was within another egg," he says.

"The bird is fine."

BIG BREAKFAST: Maria La Frenais got two eggs for the price of one.

Genuine pictures of aliens

It seems that Egypt is not the only place that has been visited by Aliens in ancient times. This plate called 'The Lolladoff plate' is a 12,000 year old stone dish found in Nepal. It clearly shows a disk shaped UFO (top of pic, hard to see from the angle of the plate however). There is also a figure on the disc looking remarkably similar to a Grey. Notice the spiral galaxy shape as well, with the alien inside it and the ufo at the begging of it. Galaxies come in spiral shape and through out India, Egypt and Peru and other ancient sites the spiral shape is very often seen. This galaxy spiral is probably there to tell us that they flew here from another galaxy, or the spiral shape could signify energy or eternity, other meanings attributed to the spiral by Egyptians and other ancient cultures with inexplicable advanced methods in astronomy and spirituality.

Picture of a rock carving in Egypt, I took this picture myself and up close you can see that this creature resembles a grey alien or a similar race of aliens as the greys. The alien creature has long fingers and an elongated skull as well as a long neck, and eyes that are larger than normal humans. This alien photo is not the best quality unfortunately, the distorted look is because of a slight movement when I took the picture. If you go on page 14 of our alien pictures, you will see better pictures that are also from Egypt. We do recommend though that you take a look at all our great pictures.

The hieroglyphics to the left are taken from an Egyptian tomb. Note the craft on the right that looks like a flying saucer or modern jet aircraft, the picture on the left resembles a helicopter with astonishing likeness, surprising since this artwork is more than 5,000 years old. How did these pictures end up there? Easy these crafts no doubt existed back then, a statue of a small craft resembling a modern day aircraft was also found in Egypt. It is in a museum today, when analyzed it showed symetry in the design of the statue signalling knowledge of flight way back in Egypt. Forget the Wright Brothers, the Egyptian brothers were way before them. Some people think I am naive for believing in this stuff. The reason why they think that is because modern society has taught them that believing in this sort of thing is a sign of being naive or a little thick. But after reviewing the evidence in this case, and several ufo and alien documented cases any intelligent judge would rule in favor of alien existance as crazy as that may sound. In any other case with so much evidence the ruling would be clear, but in this case, the judges are impartial unfortunately.

Tiny Humanoid Creature found in Chile

On October first of 2002, while vacationing in the Southern Chilean city of Concepcion, a group of family members found what appeared to be a small humanoid creature. The miniscule being measures about 7.2 centimeters long. It has a relatively large head, two arms with long fingers, and two legs. The discovery was first reported by "Mega News Service", which is the local news channel in the Santiago area.

According to previously gathered evidence and interviews conducted by journalist Rodrigo Ugarte, the bizarre creature was found among bushes by one of the children during an outdoors trip. The child allegedly picked it up and wrapped it with a piece of paper. The child claims that it stayed alive for about eight days, and in some instances, it even opened its eyes.

Nevertheless, after supposedly being dead for a few days, the small creature displays signs of advanced decomposition; it even appears to be in a strange state of mummification.

Specialists from the University of Chile pointed out to a possibility that it might be a fetus from local wild life, such as a wild cat. However, they have not reached a conclusion to determine the exact species the supposed fetus could be scientifically associated with. They expect to carry out DNA testing in order to come up with a conclusion.

The above picture was taken in the years around where the Roswell UFO crash was reported. Some of the elite people of this world who had intimate knowledge of ufo's carelessly left this picture around and someone passed it around until it got onto this site.

A Sumerian God in his Flying Ship
Notice the position of the "god" in his ship, he appears to be sitting in a cockpit surrounded by instruments. Note also the different beings performing duties throughout the ship. The ship appears to have complex machinery, which would be difficult for an ancient artist to depict.

Ancient Australian rock paintings of "Vondjina", the mouthless god of creation... All over the world, ancient drawings of beings with large, round heads have been discovered often with lines radiating from them. Were these helmets of some type? Obviously you can see that they look like the now-famous "grey aliens" that so many people have claimed to have witnessed around the world. The alien bodies seen at the Roswell ufo crash were said to have looked like the grey aliens as well. Why would it be so out of the ordinary for them to exist? Evidence is everywhere, reality is right in our face, and we keep turning away. Atleast those who we want to listen are turning away. But they are no more naive than I possibly, maybe they know that they exist... And the only reason they keep acting like it is a foolish idea is to encourage people to abondon the thought of ufo's life elsewhere than on Earth.

The picture on the left comes from Ancient Egyptian paintings on walls in temples in Egypt. Notice the black arrow pointing at a bizarre looking (Egyptian) with big almond shaped eyes and a strange body. What is this creature doing in this ancient Egyptian temple. This is not a doctored photo, you can look up this picture in Egyptian books. This is clearly not a human, yet he is right there in front of us. Do you deny what is right in front of you just to satisfy your vision of what is normal?

This is a picture I took in Egypt, notice the heads of the 2 figures in the picture. The abdomens of the 2 people or aliens is also different. It is stuck out a bit, many of the pictures in Egypt portray what I am positive are aliens and many of them have larger stomachs than a normal healthy human would have, they are not a cause of obesity. They also often have larger than normal thighs in association with their bodies, in comparison with normal humans. This picture shows 2 young aliens as their thighs are proportionate. On the next page you will see that they have larger thighs and also longer and more slender fingers. This feature (long fingers) is shown often in Ancient Egypt paintings.

This hieroglyph of a head, is clearly not a human head. Why would these ancients portray all kinds of alien heads and bodies all over the place. The only logical reason is that they saw them, they existed. These ancients were not a crazy religious cult as Egyptologists portray them. They were spoken of by Hermes as being the happies and healthiest people in the land. A healthy mind does not go to such mind boggling lengths as these to carve gigantic monuments and carvings in stone with no logical reason. These people were not crazy. They were from another planet

Here is a picture of a figure with a long neck and strange head. While not resembling some of the other aliens, he does not look entirely human.

Here we see a hieroglyph of a hand which clearly has much longer fingers than a normal hand would have. Why would they go to such trouble to carve this hand. I think it is to say yoooo hoooo look at this hand it is not human. This is who we are!!!! It is like when you are a kid and you go by freshly put cement on the road, you instinctively want to put your hand or footprint in the cement. This is the same, it is a calling card. It is a signature. It is not a symbol representative of something else such as a word, or some other nonsense Egyptologists would have us believe.

In this picture we see 2 heads of what are supposedly Egyptian Gods of the Amarna Period. Notice the first face, his eyes are a little larger than our's and his lips are african almost. As many other of the so called Egyptians are not like his. Some of the figures look white or like Americans almost. It just doesn't add up, when you compare the profiles of many of the Egyptians painted and carved on walls and immortalized in statues you notice too many anomolies. Notice also the necks of both individuals. Their necks are long and slender, indicative of an alien race, as our own necks are not like these.

The next picture is an engraving in Ancient Egypt, notice the hats worn by the two adults, could they be covering their large heads and skulls? Notice the 2 babies, one on the left has an elongated skull, so do the 2 on the right. Could all these facts be just coincidences? Of course not? We are not all that gullible to keep accepting all these foolish arguments for all these obvious alien things we see around the world. Egypt, Peru, Mexico, Easter Island, we have been fed a bunch of baloney about the origins of all these incredible works and their builders. We are told in schools that the great pyramid of Egypt took 40 years to build and it's purpose was to bury a pharoah. Come on now, are we that gullible and were the Egyptians that gullible? Of course not, who would spend 40 years of hard labor building a pyramid just to stuff a dead body in it after 40 years of hard work. That hardly sounds logical for such an obviously advanced culture as the Ancient Egyptians. They invented their own language for god sakes, are we to think they were dumb enough to spend 40 years sweating their guts out for only burying 1 body. That is the stupidest thing we have been fed by Egyptologists to date. In Mexico the group of pyramids including the pyramid of the sun are known by people in Mexico by legend as "Place where the gods touch the earth." In all evidence this probably means where the aliens landed. Where they touched the Earth... Think about it, the pyramids are large stone monuments in Mexico with steps going down the sides. What better purpose for the steps than to allow the aliens to climb down the pyramids to the ground. That is the most logical reason for their construction. And to think that primitive people could build something so incredible is well not likely in all logic.

This is a historical picture from Persia. The funny thing is that he has wings. I guess this is where we got the concept of angels from. He looks like a pretty sophisticated person for someone from remote history. Also look at his wrists, seems like he is wearing a watch or maybe some alien device. Like the people from Easter Island who were called the Birdmen Tribe, he too can fly. What I am thinking is that aliens learned how to fly or evolved into flying people and here is a picture of what they looked like. Maybe they died out here on Earth or they simply went to some far away galaxy.

The two pictures above are of a small quartzite human effigy from the Missippian period which may have alien influence in its design. Note the eyes and count the fingers, see size of head, etc. This artifact was found in Washington County, Virginia on a big Indian habitation site

Mothers in Philippines break Guinness World Record for breastfeeding

MANILA, Philippines, 16 May 2006 – Almost 4,000 mothers in the Philippines – along with their babies – have helped set a new world record for simultaneous breast-feeding. It easily beat the previous Guinness World Record set by 1,135 women in Berkeley, California.

“The malnutrition situation in the Philippines is devastating,” said UNICEF Representative in the Philippines Nicholas K. Alipui. “The situation can be reversed with simple but effective measures. The effort to break the Guinness World Record is one such measure.”

Mothers converge

Early on the morning of 4 May, wave upon wave of mothers from different districts of Manila converged on the San Andres Sports Complex carrying their babies. Once all 3,738 women had been registered, Manila Mayor Jose ‘Lito’ Atienza gave the go-ahead for the record attempt to begin.

The event, which required participants to breastfeed their babies for one minute, was organized by the City of Manila, Children for Breastfeeding (an organization that promotes family support for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers) and the Department of Health, with support from UNICEF.

“Gatherings such as this are important. It brings into the consciousness of the general public the obvious but often neglected advantages of breastfeeding,” said Department of Health Secretary, Francisco T. Duque.

Rosanna Robles, 51, the oldest mother at the event, said that all three of her daughters had been breastfed. “I breastfed my eldest daughter until she was three years old. Nobody told me to do it. I just felt it was the right thing to do. I never used milk formula,” Ms. Robles said. Her eldest daughter, who is now 26, has an eight-month-old child who is likewise breastfed.

A form of protest

“This is also a form of protest against false advertisements of milk companies influencing mothers to think that their product is similar to breast milk,” said the Director of the non-governmental organization Children for Breastfeeding, Dr. Elvira Henares-Esguerra.

Less than a third of women in the Philippines exclusively breastfeed but the government hopes to reach the Millenium Development Goal of 65 percent by 2015.

Dr. Alipui said that UNICEF will be working with the national government, local government authorities and NGOs organizations to raise the level of breastfeeding to at least 50 or 60 per cent. “Even then it would not be sufficient, but it would help us begin to transform and reverse the malnutrition problem in the country,” he said.

U.S. Breast Feeding rates rise to Record high

The percentage of U.S. mothers who breast-feed their babies has reached the highest level on record amid mounting evidence that it provides many health benefits to the child, U.S. officials said on Thursday.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 74 percent of American women who gave birth in 2004 breast-fed their babies for at least some period of time, continuing an upward trend since the early 1990s.

"We've made quite a bit of progress," CDC epidemiologist Dr. Celeste Philip, lead author of a CDC report on breast-feeding, said in a telephone interview.

Breast-feeding rates just about reached the government's target of 75 percent, the report showed. But many women did not stick exclusively to breast-feeding in the first months after birth as recommended by experts, turning instead to baby formula, the report showed.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that women who do not have health problems exclusively breast-feed their infants for at least the first six months, with breast-feeding continuing at least through the first year as other foods are introduced. The CDC backs these recommendations, Philip said.

The CDC report found that among infants born in 2004, the rate of exclusive breast-feeding through the first three months after birth was 31 percent, shy of the government's goal of 60 percent, and through six months was 11 percent, below the government target of 25 percent.

The report detailed racial and socioeconomic disparities among women who provide their babies exclusively breast milk in these first months, with black, teen-age, rural, less-educated, lower-income and unmarried mothers less likely to do so.

PROGRESS SINCE THE 1970s

Philip said she hoped the new statistics will prompt doctors to renew efforts to persuade mothers to breast-feed their babies. She said the CDC is working with hospitals to encourage support of breast-feeding in the days after birth.

The 2004 breast-feeding rate of 74 percent was the highest since such statistics were first kept for U.S. women in the 1950s, Philip said. The lowest rate on record was in 1971, when only 25 percent of mothers breast-fed their infants amid major cultural shifts occurring in the country.

By 1982, the rate had jumped to 62 percent. But it declined again through the 1980s and slumped to 52 percent in 1990 before increasing to 71 percent in 2000 and continuing to rise into this decade, the CDC said.

The CDC noted that breast-feeding is associated with decreased risk for many diseases and conditions, including ear infections, respiratory tract infections, sudden infant death syndrome, obesity, eczema and diarrhea.

It also is associated with health benefits to women, CDC said, including decreased risk for the most common form of diabetes, ovarian cancer and breast cancer. "Something I think a lot of people may not realize is that there are benefits to the mother as well as the child," Philip said.

Seven-legged lamb born

A six-day-old lamb at a veterinary clinic on New Zealand's South Island bleats like any other newborn sheep, but is rather different in other ways.

This lamb has seven legs, local media reported today.

Two of the extra legs hang uselessly behind the lamb's forelegs. The animal has three hind legs, one of them with two hoofs. It walks using its two forelegs and three hind legs, the Ashburton Guardian newspaper said.

The lamb was born last Friday on the farm of Dave and Di Callaghan.

Mr Callaghan said he was surprised to find the creature, born with a twin, walking round in the paddock with its mother and normal twin sibling.

"I have never seen anything like that," he said.

Veterinarian Steve Williams at the Canterbury Vets clinic in the rural town of Methven said he believed an error during embryo formation had resulted in the lamb being born polydactyl - with many legs - a condition that occurs once in several million sheep.

He said the lamb was also hermaphrodite and missing a portion of its bowel so was unable to pass faeces and would have to be destroyed.

"To keep it alive is probably inhumane really," he said.

Armless driver in spotlight

Michael Wiley demonstrates how he drives in the driveway of his Port Richey home

NEW PORT RICHEY - Before there was Paris or Lindsay, there was Michael.

That's Michael Francis Wiley, who has shown far more gumption than any spoiled celebutante but not much better judgment when behind the wheel.

The Pasco County man overcame the loss of two arms and a leg in a childhood accident and taught himself how to drive using his stumps - but not, according to authorities, how to obey the rules of the road.

Wiley's license has been suspended at least 19 times, and on Friday he is scheduled to be sentenced on a host of traffic and drug infractions. He faces up to five years in prison.

The media clamor surrounding Wiley's day in court is reaching a fever pitch, at least by west Pasco standards.

The 6th Judicial Circuit has imposed "pool" rules on media covering the sentencing hearing because so many Florida TV stations requested access.

That means only one videocamera and one still photographer will be allowed in court. They'll share their product with the rest of the media, including any national or international news outlets that want it. Many have already featured Wiley.

Michael Wiley, a triple amputee, leaves the courtroom after a pretrial hearing before Circuit Judge William Webb. Wiley is still awaiting trial on charges of illegal drug posession and habitually driving with a revoked license. He lost the limbs after an accident involving an electrical transformer when he was 13.

"I can't remember since I've been here when they all indicated this much interest," said court spokesman Ron Stuart.

The Wiley case even earned Assistant State Attorney Mike Halkitis an interview with his hometown newspaper, the New York Post. He grew up in Long Island and was a prosecutor there before moving to Pasco County in 1981.

"It's kind of interesting to see your cases gaining notoriety in other states' newspapers," Halkitis said.

The Post story ran April 30 with the headline: "HE'S GOT SPUNK IN HIS TRUNK."

Not much of the attention has been flattering for Wiley, 40, who was once accused of kicking a highway patrol trooper and whose last car chase with police was in May.

Some of it has been downright insensitive, like this headline from the British tabloid the Daily Mirror: HE MEANT NO 'ARM.

Wiley himself has tired of all the attention. He said so himself to the Associated Press in a story Wednesday.

That story was picked up by at least 73 media outlets from the San Jose Mercury News in California to the International Herald Tribune in France.

"I don't like the idea that I'm Pasco County's most notorious driver. That's hype," Wiley told the AP. "I'm not public enemy No. 1. I'm just a regular guy with some handicaps.

Inside a Condom Factory
